Saturday night Amee and I went to a party at LiveMix Studio. It was fun, and we got to see some friends we hadn't seen in a while, listen to some music, and even dance (once). Amee shot all of these, except the one she's in. Alan Young and I both played in Hitchcock Circus in Nashville years ago, and he was in visiting. It's always fun to dust of some old songs, and some new ones, too.

New Photo Experiment

I read about "caffenol" developer online and had to try it. Caffenol is a developer made with water, Folger's Crystals, and Arm & Hammer Washing Soda (not baking soda). I shot a roll of Ilford SFX200, probably underexposing it, and developed it for 30 min. in caffenol. Here's a shot from the roll. I'm going to try again soon; it was pretty neat. Apparently, if you add vitamin c to the mixture, it gives a speed/contrast boost and reduces the stain to the base.

Memories...

Christmas gets me nostalgic for old toys--I had so much fun with this set! It was a blast! What are some of your favorites?
