I played a "reunion" gig with Hitchcock Circus in January 2005 at the Five Spot in Nashville; I had a blast and it went well, even though I hadn't played with the crew in seven years.

I came across this black rat snake (Elaphe obsoleta obsoleta) in the yard yesterday. It was about 2 1/2 feet long, hunting rodents, I suppose.

Detroit Red Wings Win the Stanley Cup

I actually got to see some of the finals. Both the Penguins and the Red Wings played well. The goalies, Osgood and Fleury, worked their asses off.

Well, Bat-mom, really. I found this female bat in my kitchen one morning recently. I relocated her to the outside of the house. She wasn't very happy about it, as you can see. She's a "little brown bat," myotis lucifugus.
