What exactly are YOU doing to reduce our country's dependence on oil? Are you turning off the lights when you leave the room? Have you replaced your incandescent bulbs with energy efficient compact fluorescent bulbs? Are you adjusting the thermostat? Keeping your car tires properly inflated? Planning your trips to cut down on driving? Is it time to trade in that big, gas-guzzling SUV on something more economical?

Had to fill up this morning, huh?
A prius is looking pretty good right about now....
It took $70.00 to fill up my Jeep Cherokee over the weekend. I started walking to work in the mornings, it's about a mile and I can use the exercise. But still, almost $4.00 a gallon and the oil companies are making record profits? Fu*k that!
Gas was $10 per barrell when the Oil Men from Texas took over Washington and the White House. 7 years later it is above $118 a barrell. I think America has suffered about all the expert leadership we can withstand.
ps - don't you ever photograph your muse anymore?
