The party was great; thanks to the Winland's for inviting us. Unfortunately, Amee was sidelined by allergies and I was trashed by a cold the next day and we couldn't make Dale Morton's fantastic party. I won't miss it next year!

Halloween Preview

Amee and I went to a Halloween party Friday evening at MW Studios in Kanawha City. I'll post some pics from it tomorrow; today, you can see the business card I carried around as part of my costume, and the one shot I really like as something other than a snapshot.

My Little Thespian

Mia was recently in the Children's Theater of Charleston's production of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." It was fun; they did a great job. I'm glad Mia has taken an interest in it. These are some shots from backstage, and one really blurry shot from the audience.

Necco

Since the weather got colder, I've had an influx of mice. I've kept them in check with traps but I've still seen them running around. Necco the wonder kitten, it turns out, is an accomplished mouser. She caught her first mouse yesterday evening. This morning she caught another. 20 minutes later she caught another. 30 minutes after that, she caught a fourth. Cookie is a good mouser, but she spends most of her time outside. I may have to keep this kitten if she can learn to get along with Cookie.

Autumn

I love the fall. Saturday was wonderful. I sat in my favorite part of the yard and practiced while Amee played with Necco and shot some pics.
